Had a wonderful experience attending the exhibit here in New York. They were featuring works from Gustav Klimt "Gold in Motion" and other artists. This was definitely a mesmerizing view for me. The exhibit was gorgeous and was very organized. There are 2 floors for you to enjoy the exhibit and read about it. If you're in the area would highly recommend this.

About the experience

What can I expect from the event? Klimt: Gold in Motion, is a 20,000 square foot light and sound spectacular featuring two-story projections of the artist’s most compelling works and the history and splendor of Vienna that allowed him to create his masterpieces.
Tell me about the projection mapping? The projection equipment offers different visual effects and presentation styles, depending on the requirements of your event. You may choose from:
  • The former industrial foundry: sophisticated lighting highlights the venue’s architecture with its nineteenth-century metal structure.
  • The screening of current immersive digital exhibitions: offer your guests an opportunity to embark on an exceptional journey that takes them into the heart of the world of painting. Masterpieces by the great masters of the history of art are brought to life, accompanied by music, on more than 3,300 m2 of projection surface. Total duration: 50 minutes.
  • A catalog of still and/or animated ambiances: choose from among a selection of ambiances related to the exhibition’s theme or other themes (the former foundry, a plant-based ambiance, the rooftops of Paris, etc).
  • Custom Projections: project a video that has been specifically created for your event onto the walls of the Hall des Lumières. Our approved service providers are at your disposal to help you to create an entirely personalized video: the creation of a synopsis, the scenography and animation of your media (photos, videos, sound, etc.), and the musical soundtrack.
Where is the experience located and how do I get there?

Hall des Lumières is located in lower Manhattan at 49 Chambers Street New York, NY 10007 and is easily reachable by public transportation including subway, bus, ferry, PATH or walking. By subway: A, C, J, Z, 1, 2, or 3 to Chambers Street R, W trains to City Hall Station 4, 5, 6 trains to Brooklyn Bridge E train to World Trade Center

Check the MTA website for bus schedules and NYCFerry for ferry service. The PATH Train serves the World Trade Center terminal from multiple points in New Jersey, check the PATH website for details.
